Listen here to Ezio Bosso’s minimalist music for piano, violin and cello, composed specially for Sydney Dance Company.

You’ve seen the raunchy publicity shots; now you can hear the music. Sydney Dance Company has made available to Limelight an exclusive preview of two movements from the music for its latest piece LANDforms, which opens March 29 as part of Shared Frequencies’ provocative double-bill.

Artistic director Rafael Bonachela has teamed with Italian composer Ezio Bosso to present a naturalistic new work based on improvisations between musicians and dancers. Featuring an aria to be performed by Katie Noonan, LANDforms takes its cue from elegant movements and dance gestures.

The music available to Limelight readers here was recorded with the composer at the piano along with violin and cello accompaniment.
