Queensland’s outdoor Opera at Jimbour returns this July in a new, all-day gala event. Produced by the Queensland Music Festival and coinciding with its 20th anniversary, it sees a line-up of Australian talent performing opera’s greatest hits – tenor Rosario La Spina, soprano Sarah Crane, mezzo Hayley Sugars and baritone Shane Brown will be joined by Vanessa Scammell conducting the Queensland Youth Orchestra. To be held at the historic Jimbour House Estate in the Western Downs, visitors will not only take part in a celebration of music but enjoy the region’s fine wine and fresh food.
