Logans Pianos in the Sydney suburb of Burwood has been honoured at the 2020 Australian Small Business Champion Awards, taking out the gong for Specialised Retail Small Business.

Opened by Charles Logan Sr. in 1920, the independent music shop celebrated its 100th birthday last year, and is currently run by the third generation of Logans: Geoff and Chris Logan.

“It means a great deal to the company, the staff and the entire Logan Family,” General Manager Chris Logan tells Limelight. “This award acknowledges over 100 years of hard work and dedication to the business, our customers and our local community.”

Last year also saw Logans Pianos honoured in the Top 100 Dealer Awards, given out by the National Association of Music Merchants in the USA (other Australian winners included Artist Guitars in St Peters, NSW, Bernies Music Land in Victoria, Better Music in the ACT and Big Music Australia).
