UK radio station Fun Kids has launched Europe’s first classical music radio station for children, Fun Kids Classical, with superstar pianist Lang Lang as Ambassador. The station, aimed at children ages six to 12, is available to listen to in Australia, streaming here and on the Fun Kids App and other platforms.

“I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to hear classical music from a young age, so it’s wonderful to work with Fun Kids Classical to help inspire a new generation of classical music lovers,” said Lang Lang.

“We know how much children enjoy our regular Fun Kids and Fun Kids Junior channels, but we feel that as grown-ups have lots of options about what to tune in to, that kids should have that choice as well,” Fun Kids Station Manager Matt Deegan said. “We’re over the moon to be working with Lang Lang to help curate Fun Kids Classical and we are excited about bringing classical music to a young audience.”
