Bennelong Presents has announced its Winter Season, curated by Hannah Fink, in what promises to be a feast for the ears. The series, established at the Sydney Opera House’s Bennelong Restaurant in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, boasts intimate performances by Australian artists “paired with the award-winning culinary masterpieces of Bennelong’s Executive Chef Peter Gilmore and Head Chef Rob Cockerill”.

Offerings at Bennelong have so far included artists such as musicians from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Ursula Yovich with Max Lambert, and pianist Lisa Moore playing Philip Glass.

“Bennelong has a wonderful, lively natural acoustic; Diana Doherty says it is like being in a church. We chose music to suit the vastness and the beauty of the space – Bach, Debussy; the viola da gamba, double bass.
