Acclaimed concert pianist Anna Goldsworthy has been named the new Artistic Director of South Australia’s Coriole Music Festival. She assumes the role in 2019 for a tenure of three years, succeeding Anthony Steel. Goldsworthy was previously the AD of the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival from 2009 to 2015.

“It’s a great thrill and honour to be directing the Coriole Chamber Music Festival,” said Goldsworthy. “I’ve been a fan of this festival for many years for its commitment to excellence, its innovative programming, and its charming boutique atmosphere. Coriole Wines is a significant cultural force in South Australian life, and it’s a privilege to work alongside such a team and such a board.”
