The Adelaide Cabaret Festival turns 20 in 2020, so what better time to look back and celebrate some of the artists who have performed there over the past two decades?

The 2020 Festival will open with The 20th Anniversary Variety Gala! to be co-hosted by Artistic Director Julia Zemiro and one of her predecessors, David Campbell, the AD from 2009 to 2011. Favourite cabaret performers will relive past festival highlights, while emerging artists will inject a lively dash of the new.

“It’s been a delicious labour of love looking back at all the artists who have been part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival story,” said Zemiro.

“The best of Australian and International Cabaret have cooed, wowed, jazzed and stomped the stages of the Adelaide Festival Centre and there are so many stories to tell. 2020 will be a year of celebration of the past, the present and also turn the page on the next chapter…”
