Ahead of Opera Australia’s staging of David McVicar’s diabolical production of Gounod’s Faust, Limelight’s Editor Clive Paget met with superstar tenor Michael Fabiano. Meeting the hugely in-demand American singer backstage at the Opera Australia workshop in Surry Hills, Sydney, Paget finds out about Fabiano’s Italian roots, his thoughts about playing the title role in Faust, and what advice the talented young opera star has for the next generation of professional singers.
