Trio Dali has been performing for over ten years now. How has the ensemble changed in that time?

During the first ten years, our trio developed within the piano trio repertoire mainly, but also in different configurations of chamber music. We always try to develop as many combinations as possible, even if Piano Trios are the essence of our repertoire. We also had a change of violinist after six years, which created new perspectives, musically and artistically.

What are some of the strengths that each player brings to the ensemble?

Every member is fully giving their best to the Trio. We try to work as a string quartet, developing strong ensemble work and creating space for each one of us. What’s challenging is to know exactly the role of each instrument, by itself and as part of the group. Each of us has a strong vision of the pieces we play.
