A new decade is always a good time to take stock – to look forward and to look back. Our recently announced plans for the ABC Classic do just that, showcasing musical treasures from across the centuries, while also playing our part in ensuring that legacy stretches far into the future.

We’re coming into 2020 on a high. ABC Classic has just enjoyed the biggest audience in its history, with highlights of 2019 including the 120,000 votes cast in the Classic 100: Composer, the broadcast of Yo-Yo Ma’s Australian debut, and a video series lifting the lid on the piano. And let’s not forget about our sister-station, ABC Jazz, which celebrated its 10th birthday last year with a major TV and radio broadcast featuring Herbie Hancock and James Morrison.
