The men of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra get a sartorial makeover.

The gents of early music marvels the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra are about to become as easy on the eye as they are on the ear, following the announcement that the men of the ensemble will be dressed by sartorial virtuosos M.J. Bale.

The high-end tailors, based in the Sydney suburb of Alexandria, announced the new partnership with ABO on their blog, stating “with all the many professional sporting organisations we dress, we may sometimes come across as a sports-obsessed bunch.” The announcement continued, “We love art and music  – that explosive expression of the soul. Which is why it gives us so much pride to now dress the men of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.”

Anyone attending the ABO’s Handel: Heaven and Harmony concerts in Sydney or Melbourne next week will be able to see the men of the orchestra wearing M.J. Bale’s dapper threads, including Artistic Director Paul Dyer, who will be kitted out in M.J. Bale’s Defoe tuxedo.

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra present Handel: Heaven and Harmony from February 25.
