You’ve been to Australia a few times now – what keeps you coming back?

Australia is one of my favourite countries. It’s a beautiful and pleasant place for living. I think the music community in Australia is very diversified as well. Of course, I have many friends in Australia. So I’m happy that I can visit Australia again to present a unique concert to an Australian audience.

You studied at the Menuhin School in England – what was that experience like? What were the most important things you learned there?

It was a memorable time, my study at the Menuhin school, because it was my first time staying in a foreign country for a long term. It was also my first time studying in one of the home countries of classical music. Whatever was laid in front of me back then was fresh, new, striking and heart touching. Suddenly I found that music was not only the notes, but also the communication of human emotions, the expression of beauty, and the origin of life.
