Mozart in Mudgee - Camerata Academica of the Antipodes

A joyous concert of music for voices & strings by Mozart, Purcell, Telemann and more, performed by the soloists & ensemble of Camerata Academica of the Antipodes

The Camerata is going bush! Thinking of visiting the Central Tablelands during the September 2017 Mudgee Wine and Food festival? Why not enjoy the 'Flavours of Mudgee' street festival on the Saturday evening then on Sunday 24 September join members of the internationally recognised Sydney-based chamber orchestra and vocal ensemble, Camerata Academica of the Antipodes, as they present an afternoon performance of music at 2.30pm at the beautiful St John's Anglican Church, Mudgee NSW.

Hailed by Criticks UK for their “auditory feast of vocal and instrumental music” the Camerata’s programme features selections from the Baroque brilliance of vocal and instrumental music by Telemann, Purcell and Vivaldi, alongside Mozart’s joyous Violin concerto in G and sacred music, and 19th century masterpieces for voices and for violin.

Profits from the concert support the Don Spencer Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
