Comedy at the Nash is a curated program of hand-picked shows and includes:  Dads Have Feelings Too; Table 17; The Mighty Littles; and Home Grown.

Uncle Nath is letting out the pain. Dads Have Feelings Too is a warm tale of a well-intentioned dad hanging by a thread.

The show is an explosive ride – original and witty, it weaves together a series of strange mid-life-crisis cures, with some moving moments and plenty of laughs, giving festival goers “something different”. Three years in the making this is his first performance at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.  This is a great show for the whole family.

Table 17 If you’ve been in a relationship, you’ll love this show!  The company that brought you the 2016 Melbourne Comedy Festival sell-out smash-hit Couples, return in 2017 with their new show, Table 17.

Weddings are supposed to be memorable occasions. But this one might be remembered for all the wrong reasons. John and Sarah start the day blissfully unaware of what is about to unfold - anything that can go wrong does, presenting a rollercoaster of outrageously inappropriate moments and the revelation of some rather dark secrets.

Phillip A Mayer’s Table 17 is based on real-life events, and focuses on the back table at a wedding reception, where an eclectic mix of estranged family members, black-sheep and assorted dysfunctional wedding guests, invited due to obligation, are seated. We all know that table…

After SOLD OUT seasons at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2016 and Melbourne Fringe Festival 2016, The Mighty Littles are back to entertain the whole family.

It’s the comedy puppet show where anything is possible.  Some of Melbourne’s best comic talent bring to life the stars of the show: The Ritas.  Using audience suggestions and detachable extremities, audience members watch new puppet characters created before their very eyes.  The Mighty Little Puppet Show creates a brand new, hilarious and delightful show every night.

Joining these felted friends is host David S. Innes (Grain of Truth, The Doctor Who Festival) who tries to keep The Ritas under control, alongside a Special Guest Star every night from Australia’s illustrious comedy scene.

Home Grown celebrates music theatres best comedic offerings from the Australian musicial theatre scene.
