Grab the opportunity to be musically mentored by inspiring and engaging professional musicians.  Bookings essential by Friday 21st September.  Recommended student level AMEB grade 6 violin, grade 4 viola, grade 5 cello and grade 3 double bass or above to participate.  The music featured in the workshop will be performed as part of the afternoon concert.
Experience Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons as you’ve never heard it before – complete with Italian sonnets, percussion and drama. The QSO Chamber Orchestra with soloist Warwick Adeney, is comprised of vital members of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra who extend their love of music through performance in this more intimate ensemble. With a wealth of experience, the ensemble is committed to exciting and energetic performances of an eclectic range of repertoire for string orchestra.  The size of the ensemble easily enables a regional outreach to schools and audiences throughout the state, tailoring programs and performances to specific requirements. With an interest in a wide variety of projects, they are excited to have opportunities to inspire and invigorate audiences across Queensland.
Warwick Adeney, Concertmaster of the QSO, has given many performances of solos such as Vaughan-Williams' The Lark Ascending, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and the concerti of Bach and Mozart, and continues to enjoy the privileged and challenging life of leading the orchestra. The violin Warwick plays is a Venetian instrument from the mid 18th century, possibly by Pietro Guarnerius.
