Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music 2012
The 21st anniversary Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music will open with a performance by Canadian pianist Avan Yu, winner of the 2012 Sydney International Piano Competition.
Superb music, combined with the magnificent scenery of the Wollumbin caldera in the Tweed Valley, Northern New South Wales, makes the annual Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music a unique and exhilarating experience!
The Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music began in 1991 after concert violinists Carmel Kaine and John Willison
(see interview here) fell under the acoustic spell of the Tyalgum Literary Institute. Since then numerous artists have ranked the 1908 hall alongside some of the best concert venues in the world.
