In September, the Consort has planned a concert showcasing 8 Australian composers - some local and some interstate, some emerging and some already well-established in the Australian music scene: 'To Whomever Finds This Note'. Two of the works are being commissioned especially for this concert by The Consort of Melbourne. The programme helps us extend our founding commitment to develop interest in choral music in Australia as a vibrant contemporary compositional medium.
